i totally missed that tweet by stephanie perkins about isla. OMG!!! yay!! i've had that book on pre-order in what feels like forever. also, i like the one where it's not often you're in bed with the author of the book you're reading lol

Margot Wood has a great idea-I would have loved book parents. I also think Joe Hill makes a good point-why aren't we asking more creators why they don't have strong female characters?
